Ally Swanson

Ally is a graduate from New York University, studying practices of care in spaces of art and activism. Ally comes to Shambhala with several years of experience working in the classroom as a tutor as well as a birth and postpartum doula. Ally is excited about starting a full spectrum birth support business as well as fostering meaningful relationships with students. Passionate about community care, Ally believes working closely with children and their families is integral to supporting our communities so they can thrive.
Niralee Kamdar
Group Leader
Niralee Kamdar is a versatile Art Director and Graphic Designer with over 12 years of experience, combining her passion for arts with a deep love for working with children. She recently served as an After School Art Educator at Kester Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles, where she designed creative arts and crafts activities to foster learning, growth, and values in children. Passionate about giving back to society, Niralee focuses on instilling good values in Gen Alpha through art. She holds a Design Communication Arts certification from UCLA Extension and excels at simplifying graphic design concepts to make them teachable for kids. Niralee also actively supports nonprofit organizations, designing workshops and hosting camps centered on creativity, storytelling, and values-based learning. When she’s not designing or teaching, Niralee enjoys singing, dancing, yoga, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
Hannah Riddle
Group Leader
Hannah is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work with the goal of building a career focused on supporting children's emotional and social development. She has experience nannying, teaching swim lessons and tutoring children. Before pivoting careers, she worked in the climate tech field in San Francisco. Hannah loves reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
