Safety
One of our core values here at Shambhala is safety. We believe that maintaining a safe space is foundational to wellbeing. We know that yoga increases our immunity and overall well being, but when we’re sick, we shouldn’t come to a communal space and practice. Let’s help each other stay well!
Masks are optional— if you’ve recently been in contact with someone sick, consider masking up in the space and during your class!
Proof of vaccination status is optional. If you wish to provide proof of vaccination, you may show any of the following to our front desk staff on your first visit to register your vaccination status on your file:
Physical copy of your vaccine card
Photo of your vaccine card
Excelsior Pass or NY COVIDSafe app
Our HVAC systems in both spaces have been updated with the current standard Merck filter for ventilation and circulation of air and we have fulfilled all requirements with the Department of Health.
Please remove shoes upon entering the space.
Please turn OFF your cell phone prior to entering the studio. In the studio space, we are offline. If you need to use your phone, please go outside.
Props will be sanitized before and after class and can be used at your discretion. Please clean your blocks after class. If you rent a mat, kindly roll it up and place it in the basket by the door of the studio and front desk staff will sanitize it for you after your departure!
If you are not feeling well...
We wish you a restful recovery! In the meantime, please do not come to practice if you are sick or you suspect you have been in contact with someone with Covid.
Please find a video on our extensive Replay library to practice with until you feel better.
We thank you for your cooperation in supporting collective wellbeing.

Class rates and memberships can be purchased here
Digital memberships do not apply to in person or outdoor classes.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds. However, if you need to change a purchase in anyway, we will apply a credit to your account and you can use that toward any future purchase. Credits never expire.
Are all your classes in person only?
No, the majority of our classes are hybrid! This means classes take place at the studio but are live-streamed to students on Zoom.
What if I’m running late for class?
Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins. Arrival anytime after the listed start time of class will be considered late and your spot may be given to a student registered for the wait list. The maximum late policy for class in the studio is set at 10 minutes after the listed start time. We understand that life is unpredictable- If you find yourself in a pinch, please give us a call and we’ll see what we can do!
What’s the deal with the wait list?
If the class that you wish to attend is booked, you may add yourself to the waitlist by first purchasing a pass. You will then be alerted via email up to 2 hours prior to class if you will be added to the attendance list. At that point, you will be responsible for this class and will be charged via Wellness Living.
What if I have a Groupon that needs redeeming?
If you have a Groupon, please send us an email and a photo or attachment of your purchase. We will gladly redeem it for you on our end and promptly add it to your Wellness Living account! A gentle reminder that students are only eligible to use a Groupon if they have not been to the studio within the prior 6 months.
