Special Courses (Registration Required)
Prices are for 10-week series unless otherwise indicated. New sessions begin every 10 weeks. Newcomers may take one drop-in class mid-series, with the option to register and pay for the remaining classes in the series. There is a one-time $15 registration fee for first-time dance students signing up for a series.
  • AFRICAN DANCE
    Intermediate - Fri 6:30-7:45pm ~ Drop-in
    Experience the exuberant joy of West African dance! A 10-week course where you'll get lots of great dancing, as well as an introduction to the social and cultural context of the dances. Taught by Melvin Fogle -- $135 for 10-week series (+ $15 registration fee for first-time dance students)
  • BELLY DANCING
    Beginners - Sun 7:00-8:15pm ~ 10-week series starts 5/16 (No class 5/23)

    Learn the techniques & control of this uniquely feminine & beautiful dance form that is sensuous, exciting & energetic. And it's fun! Taught by Mariyah -- $135 for 10-week series (+ $15 registration fee for first-time dance students)
  • SALSA DANCING
    Beginners: Sat 2-3:15pm ~ 10-week series starts 5/15
    Advanced Beginners: Sat 3:30-4:45pm
    Intermediate 1: Sat 5-6:15pm (Taught by Raul)
    Boogie to the Latin beat. Learn basic steps, dynamic partnering & fancy footwork (You don’t need a partner to join the fun.) Students get a chance to practice their moves at our monthly Salsa Social (4th Sunday of every month @ Abigail's Wine Bar). Beginners, Adv Beg & Int. I -- $155 (+ $15 one-time registration fee) (Lower levels include one additional intensive two hour workshop). Monday night intermediate II class alternates between 5-week salsa session & 5-week cha-cha session. Each A 5-week session: $75. Taught by Cathy & Paul.

    Yoga Beginners - For those who are new to yoga. Check out how good it feels to release tension & relax deeply.

    Hatha Yoga
    - A blend of styles, incorporating postures, breathwork, relaxation and meditation.

    Vinyasa Yoga
    - Hatha yoga done as a flow. A vigorous, dynamic workout and moving meditation.

    Slow Flow Yoga
    - A slightly slower, mellower form of Vinyasa Yoga.

    Chakra Slow Flow
    - A slow flow class that explores the Chakra (Energetic) System. Focus on stimulating & balancing one chakra each class.

    Iyengar Yoga
    - Precise attention to alignment and longer holdings of poses promotes focus and clarity.

    Kundalini Yoga
    - Extensive work with breath practices and set posture forms designed to awaken and balance the powerful Kundalini energy within us.

    Yoga Blend - A unique blend of traditions and practices, including Yoga, Taoist, dance & movement, chant & singing, Afro-Cuban Orisha. Designed to celebrate the Spirit and align ourselves with our true nature, which is love, peace & joy.
