Dance classes, special courses and workshops are not included in class cards or memberships. Please check the course or workshop description for pricing.
Special Courses (Registration Required)
Prices are for 8-week series unless otherwise indicated. New sessions begin every 8 weeks. Newcomers may take one drop-in class mid-series, with the option to register and pay for the remaining classes in the series. There is a one-time $15 registration fee for first-time dance students signing up for a series.
  • AFRICAN DANCE
    Beginners - Wed 8:30-9:45pm ~ 8-week series starts 5/14

    Intermediate - Fri 6:30-7:45pm ~ Drop-in

    Experience the exuberant joy of West African dance! An 8-week course where you'll get lots of great dancing, as well as an introduction to the social and cultural context of the dances. Taught by Melvin Fogle -- $110 for 8-week series (+ $15 registration fee for first-time dance students)
  • BELLY DANCING
    Beginners - Wed 7:00-8:15pm ~ 8-week series starts 6/1 (DATE CHANGE)
    Intermediate - Sun 8:45-10pm ~ Ongoing

    Learn the techniques & control of this uniquely feminine & beautiful dance form that is sensuous, exciting & energetic. And it's fun! Taught by Mariyah -- $110 for 8-week series (+ $15 registration fee for first-time dance students)
  • SALSA DANCING
    Beginners: Tue 8:30-9:45pm ~ 8-week series starts 6/3 (DATE/TIME CHANGE)
    Boogie to the Latin beat. A 8-week course where you'll learn basic steps, dynamic partnering techniques & fancy footwork. (You don't need a partner to join the fun.) Students get a chance to practice their moves at our monthly Salsa Social. Taught by Cathy & Paul -- 8-week series -- $130 for beginners/adv. beginners/intermediate I (includes one 2 1/2-hour Rumba/Afro-Cuban workshop.) (+ $15 registration fee for first-time dance students); $110 for intermediate II/advanced

    Community Class - Pay what you can. Your presence is more important to us than your money. (Suggested donation $6.)
    Yoga Beginners - For those who are new to yoga. Check out how good it feels to release tension & relax deeply.

    Hatha Yoga
    - A blend of styles, incorporating postures, breathwork, relaxation and meditation.

    Vinyasa Yoga
    - Hatha yoga done as a flow. A vigorous, dynamic workout and moving meditation.

    Slow Flow Yoga
    - A slightly slower, mellower form of Vinyasa Yoga.

    Chakra Slow Flow
    - A slow flow class that explores the Chakra (Energetic) System. Focus on stimulating & balancing one chakra each class.

    Iyengar Yoga
    - Precise attention to alignment and longer holdings of poses promotes focus and clarity.

    Yoga & Pranayama
    - Yoga slow flow class, with an extended period of pranayama (breath practice).
    Yoga Blend
    - A unique blend of traditions and practices, including Yoga, Taoist, dance & movement, chant & singing, Afro-Cuban Orisha. Designed to celebrate the Spirit and align ourselves with our true nature, which is love, peace & joy.

    Ashtanga Led Yoga - A vigorous yoga workout with set series of poses, builds tremendous stamina, endurance and strength.
